God and Country: The Threat of Christian Nationalism

The growing movement within Christian groups to meld religion and state is drawing more scrutiny. Efforts to make Christianity the official religion of the United States would diminish other faith groups rendering them as second class. Some advocate violence to force submission of values embracing inclusion and diversity.

The Ron Reiner film, “God and Country” will be shone. A panel lead by Peter Bowland and including Rev. Steve Mather will respond to the film’s message and answer questions. All are invited to learn more about this threat to our country. Refreshments will be served.
