You are invited to enjoy a morning getting your hands dirty in the soil in partnership with the interfaith coalition for earth justice.  We will be volunteering at the Mount Hope community Garden on February 21 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your own gardening gloves and water. You can meet us at the garden or we will carpool from the church at 8:30 AM.  This program is a great way to enjoy being outdoors in God’s creation with a fun group of people working to provide fresh and nutritious produce to the children of God!!

For those who want to also go to the Chinese New Year’s event at Balboa Park that the Community Building Collaborative is sponsoring, you can get from the gardens to the park in around 11 minutes. So feel free to leave the farming event by 10:30 am to 10:45 am to be at the park by 11 am.
